Marketing Manager

Duties and responsibilities will include:

Marketing

• Develop content for external website & email newsletters, ensuring accuracy of information and consistency of format
• Lead marketing strategy team to promote Center services and explore potential avenues for marketing
• Assist other departments in marketing research & the planning of new Center services
• Design, edit, and publish printed and emailed marketing material for the Center using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Maintain graphics standards and further develop the Center brand
• Contribute to business development strategies and integrated marketing ideas.

Publications

• Manage sales, production, promotion, and distribution of Nonprofit Directions monthly newsletter and web site
• Manage sales and production of NonprofitJobsCoop.org site
• Manage sales, production, promotion, and distribution of Compensation and Benefits Survey
• Manage Publications schedule, printing vendors, costs and production in conjunction with Finance department
• Work effectively with advertising clients and vendors
• Document Publications procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or Liberal Arts, with a focus on web design or strategic communications
• Proficiency in PC programs including Adobe print and web publishing products (PageMaker, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, GoLive/Dreamweaver), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of MailChimp, Google Analytics, Joomla, OsCommerce & FileMaker Pro
• Knowledge of both the print and web publishing process
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work independently and creatively
• Proven success in getting results
