Presented in collaboration with Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta

In the current economy, nonprofit organizations are looking for creative ways to raise money. But nonprofits should be aware of the many legal requirements that govern fundraising, both from the IRS and the State of Georgia. Arm yourself with information to avoid problems down the road.

Fundraising 102 will discuss fundraising ideas and the tax implications of each, including:

  • Sponsorships
  • Cause marketing
  • Gaming
  • Gala events
  • Selling merchandise and property
