As a nonprofit executive and development professional, you most likely get daily requests for copies of your organization's IRS Form 990, audited financial statements, budgets, and balance sheets. This luncheon will help provide a better understanding of these documents and an overview of basic accounting concepts frequently encountered by development professionals. Feel free to bring your lunch to enjoy during this free workshop.
Presenter Glenda Hicks is owner of a CPA practice and has over 20 years of professional experience in business, including accounting and financial reporting, taxation, and human resource management. She has provided several years of consulting services to nonprofit organizations and their boards through her CPA practice.
Please note: While this event is sponsored by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), non-AFP members are encouraged to attend.
